Protection
Use a soft cloth or rag mop (for floors), warm water, and a few drops of mild, neutral cleaner or dishwashing detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using too much cleaner or soap, which can leave streaks or a film. Don't use products with acids like lemon or vinegar, or scouring powders and creams, which can scratch the surface.
Seal natural stone to protect its finish. A qualified fabricator can advise on the right sealer for your stone.
We recommend the use of coasters under glasses, especially those with alcohol or citrus juices and the use of trivets or mats under hot dishes and placemats under china, ceramics and silver.
Regular Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps prevent the buildup of dirt and debris. Avoid using too much cleaner or soap, as this can leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar, or other acids on marble or limestone. After washing with a soap solution, rinse the surface thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Change the rinse water frequently to avoid leaving residue. Do not use scouring powders or creams, as they contain abrasives that may scratch the surface. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions when using any cleaning products.
